Here on the Community Matters program we like to highlight what is going on in the community obviously. With that being said, this week’s show had its focus split two ways, both being about important things happening in the community.

The first half of our Community Matters program was an interview I conducted with Savannah Zimmerman of the Warren County Chamber Of Business and Industry on the upcoming downtown Warren Christmas Walk!

We detailed a night full of activities downtown on Liberty Street and 2nd Avenue, and we highlighted local businesses around the city of Warren that are helping us all celebrate!

We covered details on the Shoe-Box Parade, shows at Struther’s Library Theatre, and other locations like Allegheny Outfitters that are doing things as well that evening. Friday December 4th should be a great evening to be downtown, make sure to wear a mask and stay socially distant but have fun! The Christmas Walk runs until 7 PM.

Following that conversation, I was joined by Keith Jache of the Salvation Army of Warren and we talked about their upcoming Red Kettle Campaign and with that we also covered their upcoming Thanksgiving at St. Joseph’s plans. Take a listen here for that information and check out the show in full Sunday morning at 8:00 on 104.3 Kinzua Country.
