A Community Forum will be hosted on Friday, June 24th at 6:30 pm at First Lutheran Church to hear the stories of those who have already done such great things in providing relief for Ukrainian refugees and to consider ways the community can build on the already demonstrated success.  The whole community is encouraged to attend. Plans are for a 90-minute event which will include time for others to respond to the stories of what has already been accomplished and to offer additional ideas and support in a great variety of ways.  After the formal program a refreshment time will allow everyone to have individual conversations with those who have been so involved to date. The Warren County Commissioners engaged a consulting firm to assess risks and the feasibility of resettling additional refugees in Warren County and how many. The results will be discussed during this meeting. We spoke with a member of First Lutheran Church, Tom Pierotti about this event and the full audio details are posted now on our website here under the Community tab.
